WWE NXT TakeOver In Your House Results: Sunday, June 13, 2021

MSK and Bronson Reed def. Ghost Legacy

There was a false ending where Santos Escobar did a Michinoku Driver on Bronson Reed and it was as impressive as it sounds.

NXT is making the most of its Plexiglass before it inevitably leaves the CWC. This time, Bronson Reed repeated his splash against the glass and the glass crumbled.

This match was a perfect opening match for the crowd.

Xia Li defeated Mercedes Martínez

Xia Li might be the smallest person on the list, but they book her as 6’9. Xia Li is the IT of NXT

The fans really reacted when Mae Ying stood up to face Mercedes Martinez.

As cool as they reserve Xia Li, at the end of this match, Xia was selling a beating on the chair while Mei Ying was still OP.

LA Knight def. Cameron Grimes: Million Dollar Championship

Ted DiBiase did an amazing pre-tape promo ahead of this game on the importance of the Million-Dollar Championship. If you had no prior knowledge of the NXT product, you would think that the Million-Dollar Championship is the most important title of the company.

Ted DiBiase is also a former King of the Ring. If I could do a similar promo on the importance of the King of the Ring crown before Shinsuke vs. Baron Corbin next week, I’ll worry about that fight again.

Much of this match felt like a professional wrestling match with a ladder, but it was much safer than most ladder matches and still entertaining.

The highlight of this match came when Cameron Grimes broke his neck next to a ladder.

This match lasted five more minutes as I don’t think it should have lasted too long after the climactic golden ladder was introduced.

Raquel González def. Ember Moon: WWE NXT Women’s Championship

Raquel González launched a handful of nifty offensive moves in this match to wake up the crowd after the previous match seemed to reduce the energy.

Raquel González’s trash talk in Spanish was great.

This match was basically based on whether Raquel González was going to come out of the Eclipse or not, but she didn’t have to as Dakota Kai put her foot on the rope.

Karrion Kross wins Fatal 5-Way for the WWE NXT Championship

Johnny Gargano dressed up as Shawn Michaels and even performed the signature Michaels twist before the game.

Between Cole, O’Reilly, Dunne and Gargano, one must go to the main roster, one must go to 205 Live, one must go to NXT UK and one can stay. It doesn’t matter which one, but it’s redundant to have all four on NXT.

Vic Joseph had to talk really fast to keep up with parts of this match.

It was very realistic for many of the smaller superstars in this match, namely Kyle O’Reilly, to attack Karrion Kross with leg kicks.

As announced, this felt like a PWG party of the poor within the CWC.

This match had multiple points where Karrion Kross would emerge from the shadows like a horror movie villain, and each time they did, the fan reaction was just not there.
